Islington Acupuncture Covid 19 safety Policy:
July 19th 2021
We have decided to maintain the safety measures we’ve had in place since the beginning of 2021. We’re choosing to keep our safety procedures in place due to the close nature of our work and the current high levels of infection in London.
Arrival at the clinic
In order to avoid too many people gathering in the waiting area, please time your arrival for 2 or 3 minutes before your start time.
Face coverings and PPE
We will continue to wear fluid resistant face masks and to wash our hands frequently.
We are also asking our clients to arrive wearing a face covering and to wear it throughout the session (where possible).
Cleaning policy
We wipe down frequently touched surfaces using antiviral sprays after each client. We will continue to use wipeable couch covers and pillowcases, which are also cleaned in between clients. We open the door and windows to clear the air in the room, and disinfect any equipment used. The room is thoroughly cleaned after each shift.
Remote initial sessions
New clients will be offered an initial remote session. This will allow us to take our time with the initial consultation and to meet without face masks. It also means that face to face sessions can be kept to a 45-minute time frame.
Covid consent forms
We ask all new and returning clients to read and sign a short consent form produced by the British Acupuncture council. We’ll send it out with the confirmation of your first appointment.
Don’t come in if…
… you’ve been pinged by Track and Trace. And if you have any Covid like symptoms, please test and wait for the results before coming to the clinic.
Thank you for your help
